Koito Training

Koito’s Dedicated Training Centre

KEL places great emphasis on training and development for all its staff. All staff members have a two week induction spending time with each and every department in the company getting to know the company’s operating procedures.

New operators will pass through a four day induction at our dedicated training facility pictured above. Here our Dojo  team will teach all the core skills of not only making our range of products but how to ensure quality is built in at each and every step of the process.

Training isn’t just given at induction  KEL believes in a continuous training and development methodology.

Koito’s dedicated training centre includes a mix of practical learning skills coupled with an electronic Learning classroom.

KEL values continuous professional development. This can be in the form of internal or external development.

Currently we offer or support the following development opportunities subject to both commercial and individual needs.

Internal Development

4 days Dojo training for all new production colleagues – this includes core skills training using hand-held tools.

Koito Development System for production operators – this is an e-learning system which mainly covers the area of H&S, environment, quality and KEL values.

Internal cell leader training – this can be also open to the shop floor colleagues who are identified as next generation Koito cell leaders.

Internal learning and development opportunities through internal transfers, internal secondment's and internal coaching and mentoring for individual development.
