Providing the commitment, conviction – “and stamina” to formally develop our colleagues has proved to be instrumental in our drive to engage and develop all of our valued colleagues (The Koito family) In support of the commercial strategy my team are responsible for continually raising the “Competency bar” for all our colleagues in our quest to develop high performing individuals and teams with a commitment to protect the business (The Koito family). The “Good old days” have passed whereby individuals could be relaxed about their job security and complacent with their contribution to self-development. The future of work and success will be unmerciful and non discriminatory in that “Nothing remains the same” and that those organisations and people that do not recognise that change is inevitable – then those organisations will erode and disappear. A key part our business contribution is to prepare our colleagues for this uncertain future -- but lets at least adjust our expectation, contribution and commitment. |
