About Koito Europe Ltd.
Established in 1969 as Britax Vega Ltd. (BVL), Koito Manufacturing Co., Ltd. acquired 50% shares of BVL in May 1996 and then a further 16.7% shares from Britax International Corp. (BI Corp.) in July 1998. Then at the end of March in 1999 the Koito Group obtained the remaining 33.3% of shares and Koito Europe Ltd. was established. The Koito Group has heavily invested in the plant together with its employees, as well as introducing many new product ranges and technologies. Currently Koito Europe Ltd. employs around 850 employees with sales circa £70 Million. The site at Droitwich Spa in the U.K. is based over 8 Acres and is situated just 4 miles from the M5 Motorway giving it excellent strategic logistics placement.
